Classes
The most
important part of campus, but also the anti-climax to every student’s
experience at campus.
With
computers in most classes, practical lessons make theory classes seem more
optional, and with the freedom that campus life brings, many learners, as a
result, end up spending more time in the cafeteria than in actual classes.
As first
years, the adjustment from high-school to university can be daunting. Some days
have an early start, while others only start in the afternoons, making getting
out of bed seem that much more laborious.
Timetable
changes at the beginning to the year took a particular toll on Group A,
starting the year off with having Fridays free and ending up having class until
4pm left many students disappointed and angered.
With the
new tutorial periods in place, CPUT aims to assist students in Development
Software and Information Systems, and although these lessons eat into our free
time, the end result is definitely worth the effort.
